The Grey Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis)
is not native to the British Isles.
It was introduced here from America about 100 years ago.
There are now an estimated 3 million grey squirrels in this country.
I took this picture in Victoria Square, a small park in Clifton...

Ce petit écureuil (bien grassouillet quand même) a l'air aussi intéressé par ton objectif que toi par la perspective d'une jolie photo surtout sachant qu'il est très difficile de prendre ces petits animaux si vifs à disparaître !
iiiiiiiiiikk
it's so cuuute you want to cuddle it!
Nice picture/blog Mr Joubert :D
Hey Fabrice, Ive been looking at your amazing photos for a long time but never commented so why not pick this squirrel photo as the first comment. ;) The squirrels over here at dreamworks dont look as healthy as that grey squirrel in the pic. hmmm haha Beautiful photos Fabrice.
